A male animal’s principle job may well be to win the right to copulate (either by dominating the competition or impressing the mate) and subsequently help with the provision of food for the ensuing offspring.
A man’s principle job? Well, fuck.
Is there one? Did I miss a meeting?
Every culture (and a dozen subcultures therein) is going to have their own tailor-made definition of gender and gender roles, so this is a pretty weird and tricky question.
This is how I’m interpreting it:
The word man in this question is really just a truncated version of mankind, which is just a truncated version of humankind.
What is humankind’s principle job?
To follow their bliss.
